Hey all I recently saw a vid on the club au group of someone's XR6 that they modded to have white led (daytime running lamps) on the front bumper indicators, which switch to flashing amber when indicating. I love the look of this but he hasn't said what he used or how he wired it.
Would the parker need to be disconnected? I know having the turn signal lamp as a drl adds a layer of complication. For someone with no wiring experience would this be impossible to do? I know for led indicators they'd need a resistor to stop hyper flash. That's where my knowledge ends. I'd love to be able to do this myself but if it's too complicated for a novice I guess I would live with regular ol halogens. In saying that I'm keen to learn new stuff, if it's possible to learn online. |
