hi guys,
just thought i would fill you all in on a little story of mine you might like to read, about a month ago i sold my beloved AU I6 ute, and replaced it with something alot more substatial. another AU ute, however with a 5.6L stroker, c6-10 ? 3 speed box etc etc.... being happy as the proverbial pig in poo of my new investment, as you would be, the ute was about 95% percent perfect, mainly the only thing it needed was a decent tune ( Which wa slined up to happen within the next month ) and it would of been on very nice daily driver, seeing around 250-260rwkw and a great note to boot. untill wed night, 5.30ish at night.. i was travelling along a road, minding my own business when a car come hurtling thru the bushes ( median stripish kinda thing, with 10 foot or so high bushes ) straight at me. i had no time at all to brake, accelerate or any other, i turned slightly away from the vehicle coming straight at me ( he was doing within the vicinity of 100-110ish apparently, i really couldnt say. and thus the result... I got 8 days in my new car, which i babied around due to the current tune and obviously not wanting to cause any damage to a new motor. I have heard the your very lucky, but unlucky etc etc, might i jsut add, my last accident, was when iw as riding my motorbike, and some guy pulled out infront of me and the rest is history. so long story short, im sick of people driving their f*&king cars at me!!! I have had great support from other, family & friends, i must say, the person i bought the ute from ( AUIIIXR8 ) has been of great help, and after a quick call to him to let him know of the bad news, he was at the crash scene within 10 mins to make sure i was ok, and to see his ex pride and joy being towed away. Anyway guys ill let these few pictures tell the rest of the story, health wise i am very very well. very minor whiplash, and jsut some welts from the seatbelt. I had a sore neck for all of a day, and am now perfectly fine. So that is a huge bonus i must say. Both drivers ( myself and the other gentleman in his ute ) walked away from this accident both relativley unhurt> which is all i can say for the safety of new cars ( he was driving a Vy SS ). oh yeah, we are both insured so there are no hassles there, lets jsut hope his insurance company doesnt try rip me off for what was an awesome ute. . . . |
