Default Crow Cam 2222534

Hey everyone.

I was reading the quokka looking for a high series bonnet to graft onto, and what do i see but an advertisement for a performance crow cam, apparently to suit an el-au OHC for a mere 100 beans (Part no. for this cam is 2222534) not that i had a cam upgrade specifically on the agenda, but who passes up a bargain?

I give the guy a ring, who was a nice bloke, and he told me why hes selling it - bought an EF fairmont which had the cam in it and took it out because of misfiring and a bad idle. So firstly i just want to know if it would be compatible with my AU1 fairmont OHC and what else i would need along with it? I assume i will need heavy duty valves and springs. Will i need a capa tune or similar? vernier gear?

Thanks in advance guys

James
