Default Dam Au kicked my a$$

Hi guys i just got my car registed friday so i paid $2400 for her then to get everything fixed and then rego i pretty much paid $3500

but anyways i took my car out with mates on sunday and decided to see how well she ran so we had a little drag at some lights against my mates AU 5 speed its totally moded and mine is stock pretty much so what can do to atleast keep up with him i got him off the line for about 2 seconds (LSD ) then he smashed me lol!

so if i got exhaust, extractors, cat, thermos, cam, blah blah blah pretty much the usual mods would i stand a chance?

and yes i know its a crappy subject haha but im bored help me out guys
