Default Brake Pads

G'day
Just got back from getting a quote for new front discs (slotted) and brakes from local guy. While I was there he was telling me about a problem when using Bendix CT pads (old Advance Pads) with slotted discs. Apparently the Bendix rep told him that the new pads as they wear release some kind of compound which eventually fills up the slots in the discs and causes the brake pedal to vibrate when the brakes are applied. This wouldn't just apply to Au's but any car using Bendix CT pads with slotted discs.
Cheers :
