Default Repair'd extractors

gday all, for a while now i noticed this ticking noise in my engine which got louder over time and was really annoying and made my car sound like absolute ****. So i new it was 2 do with my exhaust, so i took my car to the local mufflers joint and it turned out my extractors were cracked and a fair bit of different places, the guy said when he took em off they fell apart lol. anyway he welded em up for 80 bucks so it was pretty easy fixed. and the car sounds perfect and aint seen any troubles yet. anyway im guessing their still going 2 need replacing sooner or later.. just wanted 2 share my troubles and see if any1 else had had simular problems..
