Default wtf? no diagnostic plugs?

my eb v8 has no diagnostic plugs.i dont know if this has anything to do with it being strait gas or not.it is in limp home mode and i took it to a family friend who is a ford nut and a racv mechanic of 30years.it confused him to, but theres no plugs near the brake booster and we couldnt find them elsewhere.any ideas?im sure i could get a auto elect to try and extract codes out of the auto ecu.is there anything else and why wouldnt it have the plugs?
