If you were alive 30 years ago can you remember where you were and what you were doing when your heard the King was dead.
I was woken up by my radio alarm clock (yes we had them back then) at 7.00am and the news came on saying Elvis was dead. I turned it off rolled over and went back to sleep. When I woke up properly about 15 minutes later I thought I'd dreamt it, then I heard the 7.30 news with the same thing. Huge Elvis fan, I was devistated, no I didn't cry but I was pretty upset. Whats yor favourite Elvis song or movie? No, thats too hard a question , there was so many, although a lot of his movies were pretty corny but there was some nice cars and bikes in them. King Creole was pretty good, so was Teddy Bear. Viva the King, Elvis has left the builing, TCB.
