Default Bearing Noise, but its NOT the bearing...

Awful low end drone going on, sounds just like bearings, but they were changed and the noise remains!! I thought it may be the diff, but they make a higher pitched sound when on the way out dont they?

One thing...

My hand brake barely works at all. You can wrench right up, lots of play in it, And it will hardly grab...

Could this be a prime case of the noise the handbrake can cause on AU's? Though I have to say, the noise can be very loud.

What else could it be?
