Hey all.
Well my luck isn't with me recently. I've just discovered that the firewall on my car is starting to crack around the adjusting nut for the clutch. I'm glad i took the heatshielding in the engine bay out or i might have missed this, and end up with no car again. I know this is a commonish problem for the manuals. I did a search and came up with not much, but how do you fix this? Welding the crack or fixing a plate to the wall- Which is better, or even both? ATM, I'm looking at putting just the plate on my self (i'm very handy with tools) but are wondering what other people have done. More so, the people who have the plate fix. Pics would be appreciate too of the plate and if it's noticible in the engine bay. Any help is appreciated. Cheers Ben
