At around 7:30 PM today i saw a strange looking car with a ford badge on it while stopped at the light in Hectorville. It was big, Falcon sized but looked nothing like a BA/BF Falcon but a cross between a Big Mazda 6, a Mondeo and an Audi. It looked quite ugly and ungainly, even more so thatn the AU. I didnt even reconginse it for what it was untill it took off and i saw the Xr6 Turbo badges on it. The weird thing is it was just happily driving along, in clear daylight, without any effort to cover up its identity. The Orion series might have improved engines and better technology but DAMN they are ugly!! What happened to the graceful, streamlined look of the EA-EL series? Just when things were looking up with the BF, (i love the BF Fairmont Ghias look) they make the next gen falcon look ugly again. The rear end had to be the worse, very high boot and small glass area all around.
