Default 19x9.5" on rear of AU XR8

G'day Guys,

Mate of mine os ordering some 19" Zenetti Kaotiks for his AU XR8 sedan. They are going to be 19x8" up front with 235/35's so thats no problem, but on the rear he's going with 19x9.5" with 265/30's. Now on the phone to the Rim shop they said the extra 1.5" in the width goes to the inside. I am abit unsure of this, so im just wondering if anybody has had any experiences running 9.5" wide on the rear of an AU, especially the Zenetti Kaotiks as they may have a different postioning of the extra width.

It runs on Dobinsons super lows so its fairly slammed, heres a pic to give an idea. This is with the old 19x8" Speedy Octanes.
