Default converting to manual???

has anyone converted any au to manual?
more so has anyone converted a 5ltr au to manual?
i will be doing this to mine soonish and just want to ask some questions.
i converted my ed to manual and it was pretty easy but an au is different.
i remember having problems getting speedo and indicators working but i just sent it to an auto elec so i think ill do that again.
all the labuor part i can do as i am a mechanic but electrical im a bit shaky at.
also i heard the capa flashers can change the ecu so it suits a manual is this true?
it comes with an ecu but then i cant use my capa flasher on it.
