Asked this question already in the audio section, but nobody seems to go in there.....so.....
If I were to fit an 8" sub to my rear parcel shelf in my AU, do I need to open up the fabric and fit a speaker grille (as in Premium Sound vehicles), or can I just leave it 'hidden' under the shelf? Will it have any impact on sound quality from the sub??? Obviously it won't have quite the same punch as a boxed one, but I still need my boot!
