just about finished my 2 litre build now and deciding on a cam, here are some specs on the motor
Pretty much standard bottom end just been freshened up 40 tho, all ballanced, crome rings, lightened flywheel and such. head has been decked to raise compression up, it is ported massive(40 hours with the die grinder on the flow bench and very sore fingers lol),bigg valves the biggest we could get in there cant think of the size of the top on my head. Side draft mainifold has the cast marks on the inside removed and the head is ported so the manifold and ports are the same size as the same on the exhaust side, running 1 3/4 extractors. two solex 40 carbs and a bosh electric ignition ready to be recurved for this cam. now i have double valve springs waiting too. any idea on a cam? also what sort of horse's will this motor spit out? couldnt be much over a 100? cheers |
