Default Tickford Plastic Engine Cover (XR8)

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has thought of/tried/succeeded in returning their Tickford engine covers back to as-new condition?

Looking at it, it's painted plastic (the same yellow plastic that the genuine body kit bits are made of)

Does anyone have paint codes for the grey and silver paints Tickford originally painted the covers with, and the red used for the recessed lettering?

The main obstacle I'm seeing is how to keep/recreate the XR logo. I've seen other people paint their covers and lose the logo but I'd like to keep the factory look.

Also has anyone had a go at polishing their standard engine covers? Any nasty side effects?
