Anyone read the Cars Guide's Top 10 worst cars they list the AU as
number 4. Ford AU Falcon: Ford spent $600 million to build it and immediately it failed as plain ugly. It also blew head gaskets, radiators and thermostats, yet there are still a lot of AU taxis limping around. Yes it was butt ugly, chewed a lot of money but head gasket issues hmm I think not from what I hear they are extremely hard to blow owing to failsafe technology and the heads are made from different material to the E series. The other thing he hasn't even mentioned is the transmission issues, front brake issues...
