Someone on this forum has to of atleast heard of the High Octane series.
Its New Zealand based, mostly focused on import performance but its also got a few V8s in it now and then. I've gotten all the DVD's up to this new one which was supposed to be released 22/09 but I went into Autobarn on thursday and they said next month. Doh! They are awesome series, the main guy in the DVD's is kiwi and he's so hilarious! Plus theres been a plenty of good features on some of the DVD's like a rotary vs V8 battle (RX2 vs HSV GTS) and this other one they bombed up this Honda CRX and got 400hp out of it then put it on the drag strip against cars like Ford Falcon XR8, Aston Martin DB7, BMW M3, R33 GTST skyline, etc. There's also one part where he goes to America and pretends to be American (with a really bad accent) but ends up showing a Ferrari 355 vs Dodge Viper GTS mountain race which is bloody insane! Its bloody good stuff! check the website here for more info http://www.highoctane.co.nz/
