I have found that the solution suggested by Kariharnett (and seconded by Als_Zetec) really and truly works:
"...let the clutch out a little bit and select reverse at the same time " It took me a little while to get the right knack of doing this, but now I have, it works beautifully. Many, many thanks, guys. The original advice is on shroomies49's thread on Oil! here: http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11305798 I am putting up this separate thread just so that others searching by title can find the info easily. |
