Can someone enlighten me about what was included on the Tickford Suspension option, particularly for the wagon?
My understanding is the following: Lowered King springs front and rear – I presume a 30mm drop. Monroe GT Gas Shocks all round. Nolathane bushes at the front. Was there a larger 27mm anti-roll bar at the front? Or did the 24mm bar remain? No rear anti-roll bar? What about an LSD? Body side skirts, I presume. Tickford 17 x 8 alloy wheels Anything else? Was this only available on the V8 wagons and not the 6s? Were all cars optioned at the factory, or could dealers fit it too? Did all cars with this option have a Tickford plate? While I’m on the subject of modified wagons. What should the standard ride height be at the rear? When unladen my wagon sits extremely high, about 50-60mm, whereas the front is quite low. Someone told me that my rear springs have been reset, and maybe my front springs have sagged somewhat… |
