drive both and decide for sure, probably half the battle is working out how hard a destination you wan`t to go to,
i had an old dedicated 4wd years ago not much comfort, built like a brick--------, i had a lot of fun in it but it always felt like a light truck, and i found having the hard core scrubber actually gave me more confidence(over confidence really) to go to that harder destination, as a result i ended up winching and digging myself out generally getting myself in the poo more often than i care to admit, in the end i wanted something with a bit more go and comfort, i don`t know if the ranger need those things but you will know when you drive it, good luck. |
