Default Manuals-Thing of the past?

One thing i noticed this week @ Broady,was the lack of Manuals being built...
Out of the 300 odd Fords we checked ,only 3 were Manuals.
All Terris were Auto ,Falcons ,XR6's ,LPI,Utes [with the nice roll bars] all autos.

So,a general Q here, is the Manual a thing of the past?
