I've driven a lot in Europe and I see virtually no inattentiveness. And what is taken as rudeness in Europe is not really rudeness but the European way of being honestly direct. I certainly haven't seen anything like the very disturbing murderous road rage you see here.

Do you think that some of this "disturbing murderous road rage" may stem from years of being beaten over the head by nannyista do gooders at any and every opportunity?

Interestingly I find that the worst road rage appears to be in the cities where there are the highest levels of "enforcement".

Another point to consider is that as opposed to Europe, Australia has never been occupied by foreign forces and Australians have never had to use extreme measures to remove dictatorships so we have no idea whether of not we are heading towards one or what to do about it....
