If the I-6 went away, I think FoA would need to have a V6 diesel option in there to keep towers happy but
the performance of the EB engine should tell you that it is more than capable of towing just as much as the I-6.
The only reason Ecoboost is restricted to 1600 Kg is because Ford hasn't furnished it with a 2300 kg towing kit.
Doing that would be a declaration of war against the I-6 engine which is something Ford want to avoid ATM.
So it will be interesting to see whether I-6 sales come back to life of if buyers change alleigances and go with EB.


If you tow a big trailer or a caravan, do what most people do and buy a diesel Territory..
