Those 2 guys in Phuket that killed that poor lady for her hand bag were picked up within days, paraded before the media, did a reanctment of the crime for everyone to see, went to Court, pleaded guilty and have now been sentenced, to life life no less, all in 6weeks.
God, here in Oz our lawyers would still be getting phsych reports, presentence reports, pleading not guilty, going to lengthy trials, making applications for bail, challenging the prosecution at every twist and turn and accuse the Police of obtaining evidence and confessions unlawfully, regardless of what the CCTV shows. They would try and get the CCTV thrown out because it's prejudicial to their clients. Just shows how rediculous our so called legal system is and how slow the wheels of justice turn, no wonder the Courts are banked up. If they got convicted here, they'd be out in 10 years for manslaughter. Now where's that rant switch.
