ok I need some help. I recently bought a mint 1300 mk1 escort which I've started stripping back to bare metal. the problem started when I pulled out the gearbox. I have no idea what it is. it's definelty not a normal 1300 fourspeed box as it seems way bigger and stronger. it's not an RS2000 gearbox either as I have one and it is nothing simliar. it does use an RS prop shaft though but it has different ratios. the part number stamped on it is 71wg7006ac and it has "masport" stamped just below the part number
