Bang for your buck the XRT can't be beaten but it doesn't have the build quality or handling that the STI has.
I would rather Build quality and handling over straight line speed. The cheapest manual car ford turbo I can find on a quick search is a BAII Typhoon at 25k. So its either XR6T with 4 Speed vs Manual 6 Speed STi.
