Default Type 9 gear box query

Hey guys,

I'm looking to put a type 9 five speed behind my 2.0L escy. I've done all the research on installation/price etc. however my main query is about the effect on higher speeds. I'm not trying to chase performance goals, I purely want to be able to get on the freeway and cruise comfortably over 100kph...

Is this something the 5 speed delivers? Just looking for personal opinion and experience really as I don't know anyone with a 5 speed on a 2.0l that i can test for myself.

Thanks in advance,

Tim
