As the title says generator for the house, im thinking of getting one, had our 2nd blackout probably less than 3 months between, lights are no big deal, but it would be nice to keep tht fridge running.
I don't really want to cough up for a 5 kw genny(although I'd like one), I'm just wondering if any one has one on the economy side, around 2 or 2.5 kw I had a quick look in bunnings tonight , the range starts at about 200 bucks for a homelight around 1100 watts capacity iirc, I think that might be a bit under powered, its probably not the constant output anyway. So can anyone recomend a budget genny that might do the job? Im thinking 5 or 600 bucks max. |
