SO i went to a new place for my trailer inspection (big 16 foot twin axle -- think car trailer with sides). country servo, been there befor so didnt worry to much as they have always been good.
they said i now need lights on the side as the rules have changed - i said OK because i thought it wouldnt be that much but the bill came in at over $900 this was for the new side lights, 2 tyres, new bushes, and a couple of minor things (reflectors) 5 hours at $110 an hour. now that i think of it - even if they change the light rules, that shouldn't apply to previous trailers (like changes in car rules - you dont need seat belts in cars that didnt come with them) did i get chumped? |
