Poppa, please don't think that my post was in any way meant to be negative to the industry.
I have in fact followed the thread from day one. I haven't said much as I have no intention of installing a system. All im saying is that the tone of the thread has changed recently and it would appear that all the stars must line up for solar installation to be a worth while exercise. I have no doubt that with a properly designed and installed system there would be benefits. I question the viability of the hundreds of thousands of generic installations that were bought off a brochure, by a genuine person who did so in good faith, thinking they were going to be living power bill free for ever. |
