Default If you weren't driving XR8s and GTs, what would you be driving?

As the title says.... if you weren't driving your XR8s and GTs....what would be your alternate car be for around the same price?

Reason I ask is that I'm thinking of changing cars (a bit bored with mine)......but I can't think of anything that strikes my mind. All that my mates can throw at me are those cars with the forced induction milk carton sized engines. Only suggestion that took my interest was a Liberty B4.

At one stage I was thinking of the X series 351s, but after some research I don't think it will be a practical daily driver.

Any other ideas? Doesn't have to be a Ford. Anything under $30k, preferably V8. I don't think I want to go down the commodore path.

TIA

PS. I'm not after "dream" cars here. Just something practical with a lot of grunt
