Default Wheels Gold Star awards 2015

Ford has had a good show in the Wheels value-for-money awards this year (October issue). This looks at the overall cost of ownership including depreciation, service, insurance, fuel etc. A bit like the auto clubs lists and probably more ballpark than scientific.

The star is the Territory which came 1st in the large SUV/4WD category.

Ecosport 3rd in baby SUV category (Mazda CX3 1st).

Falcon (and Commodore) were 2nd or 3rd places in the large car categories but were beaten by Skoda Superb.

Fiesta came 3rd in the light car categories (Mazda 2 1st).

Ranger 2nd in dual cab utes (Triton 1st).
