You may be surprised what is lurking under that bonnet of his. Being older he probably has reasonable disposable income, how do you know there is not a healthy blower or some serious mods hiding under that bonnet bulge.
Who cares......the BA GT would need a bonnet full of upgrades to even keep up with an FG F6. Not to mention exhaust mods are probably the first and most easy and common of mods done to a V8.

If the guy had a blower on it.....it sure sounds like everyone would allready know about it anyway.......
