Default expensive BA GT

well the first BA FPV has come out of the closet, i didn't even know they have any 'P' cars in the BA Mk1 range

this is from the Falcon GT Owners Club of NSW facebook page

Hello, My name is John

I own the BA GT Prototype. This is recorded as P001. I have owned it since 2004 it had 5,800 klms on it when I acquired it. Now has only 6,700 klms. The vehicle has been safely stored in my collection and maintained as new.

The car is manual, and Phantom in colour.

It is the only BA GT with a 2002 compliance plate, the GT’s were not released until 2003 the instrument cluster is different to any other GT. This car also has some other unique features.

This vehicle is the one that Ford Australia used in the promotion and re-release of the GT and was promoted by John Bowe. This car was searched for back in 2013 for the 10th anniversary of the FPV GT by the September/October ( issue 69 ) of the Australian Muscle Car Magazine, they were wondering where it went. I have all supporting documentation, and every little extra that came with the vehicle. There are rare DVD’s showing John Bowe promoting the actual car and many still photos.

Mr John Bowe is fully aware of this car and its origins. As I am reaching retirement I have decided to sell this piece of Ford Australia's motoring history. I attach one photo of the car and have many more. If you could put this in your magazine and it sells I am prepared to make a decent donation to your club, alternately I can pay for an advert. The asking price is $200,000.00. The rate these cars are heading and the ONE OFF uniqueness of this car makes it a good investment and cannot be replaced. It would be nice to see this car go into a Museum or another genuine collector. There is NOT a better quality, original, lower klm more unique BA GT car in Australia.

This is the NUMBER1 Prototype.

Yours sincerely John
