Exclamation Ford Escape breaks down within a week of purchase,

A friend of mine bought a new Escape Titanium, last week. It died at the traffic lights, within a week, . No lights on dash, key wouldn't turn motor over. Called Ford Roadside Assist " cannt help until paperwork arrives from dealer. Car gets trucked to dealer. On investigation a cable had fallen off a battery terminal. Further investigation found the pre-delivery wasn't done. Pre-delivery report is blank.
Service Manager said "people will be spoken too" Service Dept did the pre-delivery. Provided a loan car. and will pay the cost of the tow truck. She is happy with how the Service Dept handled the problem.
The Escape is a nice looking vehicle. But Tech Pack should be standard on the Titanium.
