just wondering if has anyone put thier own aftermarket sunroof into thier AU?
I purchased a universal sunroof that I intend to install myself, but was just wondering if hacking away at my roof would cause any damage to the structual integrity of the car (I heard the roof provides quite a bit of structual support). Are there likeley to be any crossmembers that need to be cut and modified around the sunroof? Is this a job best left to a pro, or is it as basic as I am hoping....? any pointers before i pull out the angle grinder and tinsnips would be great, cheers. |
