Hello
I have an oil leak from my timing chain tensioner and am thinking of replacing the tensioner as I have an occasional timing chain rattle. The motor has done about 220 000 kilometers and was wondering if replacing just the tensioner will fix the rattle or should I replace the guides as well. Is it worth replacing the timing chain as well? I have read the chains are supposed to be good for 400 000+ kilometers? Thanks! |
