Default Mongolian Rally

Guys,

This week I came across an adventure holiday with a difference. The lovel wife and I are going to do this http://www.mongolrally.com/ next year.

2004 they had 6 cars,
2005 they had 43 and this year something like 70 cas have entered. We can't do it this year because of other commitments but next year we have already blocked it off in our calander.

We are lucky as we currently are living in the UK. The biggest challenge we have is finding the car below 1000cc in size that would be reliable enough.

Happy to take sugestions on the types of car.

The only restriction I think I will place on it it has to be carbie as it will be simpler to carry out "bush mechanic" on the side of the road in central mongolia.

David
