Unsurprising, comrade. I’ve been musing over a related effect of “The Swedish Model” of response to Coronavirus and that is, it hasn’t seemed to fuel the same distrust, alienation and divisiveness within their social fabric as we - and other countries - continue to experience.

I think the Swedish people are much more like everyone else than they would like to believe.

Notwithstanding the jury is still out on the success or failure of the ‘The Swedish Model’. Some Swedish people praise Anders Tegnell; some have threatened to murder him.

Unfortunately the growth of far right groups is increasing there as it is in other western democracies.
