Default XR8 power steering return line

Both ends of the power steering return line on the XR8 are leaking - one end in particular just let go (at the reservoir) and dumped most of the fluid overnight on the weekend.

None of the usual aftermarket places like Repco seem to have a listing for this hose, and went in to Ford today and it's now listed as obsolete and they said couldn't get one. Just had a look on ebay, and nothing.

The leaks appear to be caused by the line turning really hard and brittle - no matter how tight you do up the hose clamp, the hose moves and doesn't seal.

What are the options here? Buy the same size/spec hose and cut to fit?

Or would somewhere like Enzed be able to put something together?

Done a heap of searching on the forums, but most threads seem to be related to the high-pressure line.
