No need to if there is a realistic approach to immigration and the the type of immigration demographic required. The immigration rate and temp workforce here is one of the highest in the OECD which is fuelling this rat box style of urban density everywhere across the burbs. There is no well thought out long term planning to suit, just slap it up with 5 people per square metre, take the money and run.... some of our burbs are starting to look like the city . Box Hill and Glen Waverley are a joke with high rise buildings now and they’re even building high rise apartments in the outer East in Knox FFS..
It’s no longer urban sprawl, it’s now urban cancer. Temporary solutions by temporary minds for a temporary way of living.
