Had a problem flywheel resolved. It’s an uncommon design with the clutch cover registering below the height of the running face. Plus it had slight runout.
First it was diamond ground dead parallel to the flange, then clamped and turned to lower the registering face per original offset of 0,5mm. In doing so the 7 thou wobble was removed. Best parts - only 24 hours turnaround for a custom job, and sane price. Worst part, 100km round trip driven twice. |
