I think you’d find putting a recipro through a scrap tyre almost so satisfying as I did today. It “fights” you a bit, as the wires catch on the blade, the rubber vibrates heavily and it pushes away from the saw. I used a carbide tipped “thick metal” nine inch blade that was bought for chopping CI pipe. So when you finally have two half-tyres it feels like a hard-won fish.

Other “feel good” moment was rediscovering the lost key to a parts car; don’t need it yet but a lot simpler than trying to power up the door locks from the front jambs.
