The fact he was taken to Liverpool Hospital is odd, I know that you can't choose which hospital to go to, the system does that, I know I tried once.
So did Bankstown have an issue beforehand and covered it up for I suppose political reasons, am just trying to reason in my head the logic of doing what they did!
Very strange eh.....this is not a criticism of your post but me looking at why it happened that way!

More than 100 staff and patients at a Sydney hospital have been sent into isolation after two student nurses tested positive to COVID-19.

NSW health authorities confirmed on Friday night that 130 staff and patients from Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital had been impacted.

The two cases are not linked, a South Western Sydney Local Health District spokesperson told 9News......
