SD boot is a possibility, but it would require a lot of work also, you'd need to rebuild the initial file system (the read-only one) so it included the SD driver. I don't have the boot sector either, that would load the IFS, so there is a lot missing and not much chance of getting support for a chip more than 15 years old now.
So....into the bin with it. and replace with raspberry pi. I wonder if the fascia of Mk2 will take the foundation screen as well as the mk1 fascia.
