Default 94 Turbo Capri

I have just had my Transaxle serviced and Im ready to fit it back onto the Engine.
There a a couple of sensors that are attached. One is located on the front just under the clutch arm where the clutch cable is attached. This one shows up as the reversing light switch.
The other is located on the back of the Transaxle just under the half shaft for the RHS. I can see the gear selector shaft through the threaded hole.
Its been a few months since I removed the Transaxle from the car and cannot find or remember what this sensor/switch function is or what it is called so I can order a new one.
Maybe it has something to do with the cruise control?
Any one have any idea/
