Question Are these heater core hoses the right way around??

Hi,

I have been working on the cooling system on my 2006 ZC 3.0L V6 Ford Escape using the workshop manuals posted in the tech docs (thanks Russ!).

While doing so I noticed the diagram of the heater core inlet and outlet hoses looked like they might be installed the wrong way around. I've swapped them over but I want to be sure I haven't done something dumb. Links to photos of current configuration and screenshot of diagram from workshop manual https://fordforums.com.au/wsmpub/zcesc68/07-07.html included.
