Data valid as at 00:00 GMT weeks ending March 8th and 15th 2024.
Australia had 7,106 / 4,550 case numbers and 3 / 29 deaths so the CMR is 0.206% (UP). NZ reported 5,572 / 4,803 cases and 20 / 47 deaths for a CMR of 0.216% (UP). 74,516 & 48,512 new cases in the USA and 721 / 597 deaths for a CMR of 1.090% (-). South America passed 70M cases while global cases pass 704M. Global case numbers were 124,386 and 242,474 for each week compared to the 213,427 last reported and the number of deaths reduced substantially from 17,657 last report to 1,155 and 1,461 these last two weeks. I’ve shortened the time frame to 6 months for the graphs below to make the movements clearer.
