Default V8 knock sensor and output

with our beloved EFI 302 windsor... or well rather it was, its just bigger and boosted now...

the point is, i need to know where the knock sensor is, and what kind of output it has. the reason being is that I am about to plug my laptop into the haltech to get the car runnung ok-ish, and I would prefer to have advanced warning on when it starts to ping. as once i hear it, it will have done damage.

for those interested it currently has 230rwkw, on 10psi, with less than 10:1 air-fuel ratios (graph stops there). certainly room for improvement. the main cause for the tune is the fuel dribbling out the exhaust, and the fact that we got 220km out of a tank ONCE, rest of the time its about 190-200. power isnt really a concern for the car, i just want to cruise for less than $30 a lap.

so can anyone help me with the knock sensor thing?

cya
Ben
